I wanted to pass along that the Brown County/Oneida Tribe shared Disaster Recovery Center being run by FEMA and the SBA for residents that were impacted by flooding during the April 13 – 23 event.

There is no assistance in this center for the late June flash flooding

This is an opportunity for the public to get direct fiscal payments from FEMA or very low interest rates through SBA.

We just shared a Facebook post on this and if you have social media we ask that you PLEASE SHARE this out for your municipality and stakeholders in your organization for awareness. We have also done a press conference that will air tonight to encourage the public to take advantage of this. Folks can still apply online at their convenience at https://www.disasterassistance.gov/  until August 31st, but this in person site offers a chance to apply for those who don’t have/not comfortable with computers or want follow up direct with FEMA on a claim.

(Early close at 3PM on July 23rd and 29th)

In-Person Site runs through August 14th.
