TREATMENT FACILITY OVERFLOW PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given pursuant of SS. NR 210.21 (5) that the Town of Holland Sanitary District #1 Wastewater Treatment Plant experienced a Treatment Facility Overflow (TFO) event on January 29, 2026.

The TFO was the result of a level transducer failure causing a tank to overflow. The overflow was contained within the treatment plant grounds and immediately cleaned up. There was no risk of human exposure nor exposure to any waterway. The issue has been resolved and the TFO event has been reported to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources pursuant of NR 210.21 (4).
