Sanitary District SPECIAL NOTICE

Town of Holland Sanitary District #1
Water Tower Painting Project
May 16, 2025
Repainting of the exterior and wet interior of the Town of Holland Sanitary District #1 water tower expected to begin next week will be backed up a bit and people of the community will be notified on the town web site as well as the Neighborhood Facebook page and the newspaper Wrightstown Spirit.
The project is expected to take two months to complete. During this time, the water tower will be drained and taken out of service. This means we will be operating without the backup storage we have during normal operations. Our well pump and a temporary pressure tank will control the water pressure throughout the town while the water tower is out of service. It is possible customers may see some minor water pressure fluctuations.
We ask for the community’s help with keeping water usage to a minimum during this time. There are several things that can be done to accomplish this: do not water lawns, do not fill swimming pools, avoid any water usage that is not necessary.
If an emergency were to take place during this time, causing a loss in system pressure, a boil water notice will be issued to all customers. The notice would include follow-up information and would be mailed to all customers, posted on the Hollandtown Neighborhood Happenings Facebook page, and posted on the Town of Holland website, https://hollandbrowncountywi.gov
We thank all customers for their patience and understanding during this time. Please contact the Town of Holland Sanitary District #1 at (920) 766-4726 with any questions or concerns.
