SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
 2026 Budget Preparation Work Session
and a meeting with sign contractor.

The Town of Holland Town Board will hold for a Special Meeting on October 1, 2025, at 5:30 pm to meet with a sign contractor, and at 6:00 pm to discuss items and/or projects to be included in preparing the 2026 Town Budget.

Agenda:

1. (5:30 pm) Meet outside with Axon Hillock sign makers to discuss possibilities for outside sign at Town Hall.
2. (6:00 pm) Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance
3. Clerk will explain preliminary budget figures for the 2026 Town Budget
4. Discussion of road projects, and any other items, that will impact the new budget
5. Decide budget timeline and dates for Notice, Budget Hearing, Levy Acceptance Meeting, and Town Board Approval (Potential timelines below).

Potential Timeline 1: 
Notice submitted Oct. 21 for Oct. 29 Publication
Public Hearing of Budget: Nov. 5 at 6:00 pm
Meeting to Approve 2026 Levy: Nov. 5 at 6:20 pm
Town Board to approve Budget: Nov. 5 at regular Meeting
(Note that there also needs to be two Rezoning hearings that night – maybe at 5:30 and 5:45?)

Potential Timeline 2:
Notice submitted Oct. 28 for Nov. 5 Publication
Public Hearing of Budget: Nov. 12 or 13 at 6:00 pm
Meeting to Approve 2026 Levy: Nov. 12 or 13 at 6:20
Meeting of Town Board to approve Budget: Nov. 12 or 13 at 6:30 or immediately after levy approval.
